Bidra med feedbackSometime good things are hard to find, but Badia di Moschetta is well worth the effort. The Florentine steaks were absolutely delicious. Ricardo was a most gracious host!
I cannot rate Badia di Moscheta highly enough for the warmth and friendliness of its people, the comfort of the stay at the lodgings but most of all the quality and value of its amazing cuisine. I hiked over the Appennine ridge hoping for a basic B and B to stay at, but the welcome I had there made me want to stop the hike and just holiday there. Ricardo went seriously out of his way to help me on a range of things nothing was too much trouble, even though he had a very busy weekend. His people were constantly helpful and patient with my near non existent Italian and the atmosphere was one of a big friendly family. Go there for the great atmosphere, the great home made pasta, the comfortable lodgings and the peaceful and beautiful surroundings and if you're lucky enough to be looked after by Ricardo, you wont want to leave.....
Ate here whilst staying at the attached refugio so pretty much covered in that review but will reiterate that the food is great good service by Ricardo and his team. Although pretty much being captive diners it made no difference to the level of food quality and service, spot on !
Spectacular the place, starting point for trekking or transit for the motorcycle ride. great welcome. to try the fritta trippa!
Nice place, ideal to detach from the cities because silence reigns and listens, hearings do not receive mobile phones! the plexus consists of a small church, a cloister with attached hostel, museum of the territory, then there is a restaurant with Tuscan specialties, a riding stable and 2 buildings with rooms and accommodation for tourists. from that place start hiking trails, mountain bike trails, wild animals are present in the environment and you can easily see the gates. there is a free camping area, with essential services but not electricity. I recommend to those who want to breathe clean air and want to find a dimension not dictated by citizens rhythms.
