A unique restaurant with high standards that knows how to combine refinement and sobriety. When you enter Nipa House, you don 't come to eat, you go on a journey. And this journey is told to you by an excellent restaurant manager, fascinating to listen to, as well as by waitresses who accompany you from dish to dish as if guiding you on a path lined with ferns and orchids. Because it is in fact in the Philippines that the chefs welcome us to their Sarthe tables. The cultural mix is always rich and fruitful, the Franco-Filipino cuisine of this establishment is no exception to the rule and offers varied and tasty, colorful, fine and harmonious dishes. We are surprised in turn by the caramelized sweetness, the acidity of the citrus fruit combined with coconut milk to enhance the duck, the rose water that sprinkles a “Sponge Cake”, etc. Don 't deprive yourself of the Plato and Baso option, concocted by the once again excellent Mr. Gangneux, who will help you discover surprising wines or savor sure values perfectly matched with the dishes. Don 't miss its cocktails either, subtle and creative, it 's a real pleasure. I would like to underline the great adaptability of the team which was able to take into account a particular request concerning our location in the room due to a singularity on my part as well as a last minute request for a visual modification of the menu. We emerge from this trip a little disoriented because the journey is exquisite and the particularly attentive support offered to us is of high class, also leaving this cocoon gives us the impression of a sensory shift and the landing takes time back to reality. I cannot recommend this beautiful address enough where you will find pleasure and refinement. In addition, you may be lucky enough to meet the two chefs at the end of the meal and exchange a few words with them. It 's always pleasant and the attention says a lot about the chosen mindset and vision. Obviously all this has a price but the work and the choice to offer local and exceptional products are worth it without a shadow of a doubt. What work accomplished by Jason and Sharon Le Glatin and their team! 2 years after taking over what was only a country restaurant, the chefs of Maison Nipa have created a refined and tasty restaurant. You will be welcomed in a lounge bar for an aperitif with a splendid view of the garden. Dinner in a room which will soon be completely renovated features delicate dishes based on local products. The dining room manager's sidekick, Julien, is never short of details to tell you the smallest secrets of these exceptional dishes. In a surprisingly friendly and warm atmosphere among a clientele sometimes not very sensitive to great cuisine, the dishes parade and surprise with their singular character. Supreme pleasure, the chefs were kind enough to greet us at the start to exchange a few words and reveal the secrets behind a magical evening.
