Bidra med feedbackLocation From the camper's car park in Filderstadt always towards the centre of the village, you can see the large beer garden in front of the brewery Schwanen Bräu with space for max. 250 people. Ambiente The Schwanen Bräu brewery was founded in 1988. Outside are rather inconspicuous internal spaces. First the brewhouse with the large counter with 25 seats. Then the beer sky for 52 persons, the Braumeisterstube for 39 persons, the malt camp for 45 persons and the hunting room for 12 persons. Who isn't enough to visit an outbuilding Emma's pub or book for live events and space for 80 people. The premises are individually designed and accessible by stairs and steps. Anyone who likes it for good can sit on colorful velvet-related old chairs at a large table in the hunting room or like we in a fireplace room on dark leather-related benches or chairs. The fireplace was festively decorated with large white candles. Almost all tables were already reserved and already covered. Our cutlery was in a stone crust on the table along with the beer lids in an extra decoration stone base. Service The service was very friendly. We were accompanied to our table. The glasses were skillfully and trained as full or empty on a large tray through the brewery jong, treppauf and treppab. Food The menu and drink card is here the host house newspaper and an insert with seasonal dishes. There are soups, salads, vasper and good, grounded cuisine. The Bavarian and Swabian specialties go hand in hand here, which is the origin of the kitchen, in the love of a Bayerin to a swab. That's exactly what we wanted to try out and order the innkeeper, pork roast from the Swabian pig with old beer sauce, semmelknödel and homemade herb salad (14.82 €). Everything tasted excellent and was well tasted. Especially the white herb salad was crisp and very fresh with a special touch. So it continued with the lazy Mauldascha (10,29€). Two large handmade Lord God ́s Bescheserle, delicious meat mass in a noodle layer with melted onions and lukewarm sponge potato salad. And also the leaf salad with fresh herbal sprouts was a poem. Then it should be Ebbes without meat and from the season ticket. Garganelli noodles in herbal tomatoes with fresh rocket and asparagus (11.75€). Here too everything was fine and fresh. Only we reckoned with white season asparagus and got green asparagus pieces served. From home brewery there are two standard beers of Pils (naturtrüb and white and six to eight season beers delicious. Conclusion: ... my dear swan, here you can make good food, but please book in advance.
