La Estrella - Figueres

Food was good, but not great. Service was good, but not great. The main reason to eat here is the atmosphere of being in the square.

The gelato is subpar, but even worse is the service. We were “in their way” when inside ordering and waiting to pay, then yelled at for sitting outside where they told us to wait. Actually, the worst experience/service in Spain so far this week.

In the fine Plaza we were delighted to take an outside table in the early evening sunshine. Having the mixed paella and a seafood main were very satisfying. With cool beer to accompany. It’s a fine eatery, complemented by the friendly pleasant and efficient staff. Lovely to while away an hour or so, enjoying tasty food and ambiance.

Cuina casolana que em recorda a la cuina de l'àvia de tota vida. No us ho podeu perdre bon menjar i a sobre després un gelat que fa el dia més amè amb les vostres amistats.

Hem demanar 3 terrines de cheese cake i de festuc. Molt bona la textura i el gust del gelat. Passejar pel centre de Figueres menjant un gelat després d'una sessió de platja
