Bidra med feedbackIt's a while since we visited here for lunch and I don't think we will be back any time soon. We both chose potato and leek soup I love thick soup but to be honest it was more like potato stew. My husband chose the lunch deal and wanted a tuna pannini...no tuna left so he ordered ham and cheese..he couldn't see the ham and certainly couldn't taste it! I chose bread with my soup and it tasted like cheap bread with a strange taste. We were disappointed...the food was nothing like it was with the previous owner! The young girls serving were all pleasant and cheery, hence 3 stars instead of 2!
Once again went up to Townhill Loch cafe to find it shut. Surely she could let people know when she’s not open . She’s on Facebook so it wouldn’t take much effort. Much better when Marie ran it. Cake choice was better too.
I go up the Loch every weekend and the cafe is never open. Don’t know how they got the lease to run it.
We go for a walk around Townhill Loch a couple of times a week in all weathers. At the end of our walk we always call into the cafe for wee bite the girls always make you feel welcome and the service always comes with a smile, well down Ladies
Have visited the cafe on a few occasions, on last visit found it to be very expensive for what you are getting ,1 waffle with some nutella and a few strawberries £5.50 , same for waffle with bacon ,waffles were cold ,cafe was busy and no issues with the service but just don't think they can justify the prices they are charging for what you get ,for this reason we won't be returning.
