We were glad to know that this restaurant is now back. new employees have met high expectations all around.
As others have said, they have just opened up under new management and I am sure how time is over, they will bring it together. they were from chianti and from meatballs, what happened to what I ordered directly. our waitress was friendly and helpful in choosing another weine and let us know that they were also from the osso buco. that was their third day open to the public. we ordered Caesar salads, auberginen parmesan and Alfredo noodles with huhn. the salads and meals came with absolutely tasty brot! the Caesar salads were delicious, made with a charred head of romaine. our main courts were also good. I would order the aubergine again. I liked preparation, a hearty disc aubergin with very little broth. my man said his meal was very good. we're coming back! I loved the pizza oven they used to make years ago with small pizzas. crispy, carburized chest with interesting beats. of which is still there, so there may be hope that the pizzas will be resurrected in the future.
Cucina South recently reopened and is suffering some hiccups. Service and Staff were friendly and prompt. Food was good but my Bolognese could have been a bit warmer. The table next to us complained that The veal shank was meager. But it is a veal shank after all. I would go back but I think I will wait a bit until they get their groove back.
Was anxious to try the re opening of what used to be a fave. Nice menu although I miss the fra diavlo! Ordered meatballs for appetizer nice taste but not warm enough. My daughter and I had carbonara again not warm enough I sent mine back to get heated. Portions were small. Over server was excellent though. Sadly, I’ll let some time pass to see if they work things out before racing back.
