Bidra med feedbackI had the banana leaf wrapped haddock and it was fantastic. My Johnny ordered the chicken drums and he said they were exquisite as well. After speaking with David, the owner, I can bring my celiac sister with me and she will have an excellent high end meal there like we did. The price was very reasonable as well. This is a real go to place! We will go again for sure. I think this is the best restaurant in Fergus.
Very good food. Left with a full belly and left knowing the chef on a personal level. Catholic school boy who worked around the world. Worked in Dubai and other places on his way to Canada. Going threw a very hard time right now but keeps a smile and gentle talk and excellent food flowing. Go visit and enjoy.
Short menu, but excellent food. Our group chose 4 totally different items, and they all arrived hot and very tasty. Presentation was top notch.
First time trying this restaurant and it won’t be the last! Great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming service and food was excellent! My mom and I shared the soup of the day which was green chickpea and vegetable and two lovely pouched pear and spinach salads! To top it off he’s very accommodating to vegetarians and vegans! Can’t wait for my next visit to Fergus!
The Sylver Rose eatery has a cozy relaxed vibe to it. My friends and I enjoyed dinner here last evening. We ordered the house special/favorite Pork Vindaloo served with bite sizes of Naan (Indian bread , vegetarian pasta, shrimp pasta and a coconut lentil soup. The complimentary appetizer was samosa stuffed with lentils in a bed of Chana masala (mildly spiced chickpeas . The portions were substantial and quite filling; and the food overall has balanced flavors. The chef/owner Craig is friendly and ensures a good experience for all patrons. Couldn’t help overhearing really heartfelt compliments from customers at each table and how they’d visit again and recommend the place to friends! I would totally recommend this place to anyone wandering around Fergus and Elora : would also recommend you call and make a reservation especially for Saturday evenings as the place seats 22 customers at a time. Great experience overall!
