As a north shore local, it is always a pleasure to discover great restaurants near me and wow, just wow. I am singing from the rooftop that Mangiasti is an absolute ripper!! Dish after dish was amazing and so delicious with the most lively service that made me feel like we were old friends. Special mention to their signature dish of Linguine al Cartoccio (seafood pasta baked in a parcel) which had the most beautiful sweetness from the fresh seafood and the roasted cherry tomatoes and the Tagliatelle al Ragu which had so much depth of flavour and tenderness after 8 hours of cooking. Everything was divine divine divine! In Short: Mangiasti? without doubt qualifies as an urban gem. Southern Italian cuisine cooked with panache and plated beautifully. It’s versatility is its strength where you can opt for pizza or linguine cartoccio depending on your foodie mood. Have you eaten? You may just want to drop everything after this post and head straight over to Mangiasti? Located in Roseville, Mangiasti? translated means “Have you eaten?” Quite an apt name for such an inviting space. A rustic interior exudes warmth and begs you sit down and take in the offerings from the open kitchen.

Mangiasti in Roseville’s chase is definitely a restaurant you have to visit, the service and food are amazing !! The Linguine Al Cartoccio served in the parcel is definitely my favourite dish here. The Twice cooked WA octopus with chickpea purée was also a standout dish

4.5 5 Mangiasti, an Italian restaurant is located in Roseville Chase. I head here on a weeknight along with some foodies to check out the food at Mangiasti which is best described as Modern Italian. Mangiasti is a cosy restaurant with a narrow space at the bottom, there is also a space upstairs with more tables.  The decore feels intimate which would be great for a date.
