Bidra med feedbackPicked up croissants and tarts on Saturday...it was the first time I'd been, but it definitely won't be the last! One of the best croissants I've had crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The only sad thing was they sold out when I came back on Sunday. Coffee and service were also great.
Pierre set the standard back challis avenue in the late 90s only to eclipse everything with his humble bakery now. one of the greatest place on earth by the way, no doubt. thanks for 25+ years of hospitality for me alone
A great bakery that makes excellent French bread and pastries. By far the best baguette I have had in sydney. It’s a small bakery and quite popular with the locals lining up for bread and pastries. Their baguettes a bit well done (bien cuit) for my liking but, very nice and dense. Quite different to the baguettes in France but, very nice indeed. Their almond and chocolate croissant is excellent. The cookies were not the gooey kind and also, far too sweet for my liking. Good coffee here and I would gladly come back just for the baguette and croissants alone. A lovely bakery in the area.
Are these the best croissants in Sydney? Definitely the best I've had outside of France. Seriously that good!!! The pies are perfect and every pastry I've sampled a winner! Friendly smiling staff is un-French like but certainly welcomed. A must try if in the area
A cute French pattiserie/boulangerie with delicious freshly made breads pastries. The enticing smells wafts as you get close by. Order a delicious Double Roasted coffee along with a flakey croissant or a savoury quiche that's as light as a cloud or a perfect tart tartin. Walk out with a crusty baguette you will look tres chic just like in France.
