Costa Coffee - Fenland

Visiting March today, so checked the reviews beforehand decided to pop into Costa. What a mistake queued for a while as the person in front of me chatted endlessly with the barista whilst her drink was being prepared. After a wait, a young lady appeared from the back, waiving a mobile phone, only to tell me that I couldn't be served as they were closing. I expressed amazement, questioned why the whole place looked an absolute shambles told her that this was not the standard of service I have come to expect from Costa. Maybe it's just me this is the new post Covid Coca Cola way of destroying a business model? She appeared utterly disinterested, but did inform me that the seating area would be back in action shortly. Never mind, I won't be going back to find out!

A lovely and friendly place with wonderful service by a team of people for whom nothing is too much x

Wasn’t able to seek out a seemingly half-decent independent coffee shop in March so fell back on Costa’s reliable black coffee. Nothing spectacular but just what was required. Friendly enough service too.

When I first went to Costa in March Cambs I thought it was just a place i would have a coffee and go..I just couldn't believe how friendly and kind the staff were. It was like walking into your own living room it was so homely and comfortable. There are lots of coffee places i have been to but this i could honestly say is an absolute gem. Chari and the teami always makes you feel welcome and i always go home with a big smile on my face...Sarah

A pretty standard Costa with reasonable coffee, and a selection of light lunch items and cakes. The toilets could have used a bit of attention, but on the plus side, the service was good, both pleasant and efficient.
