Orchid Thai Bistro - Fenelon Falls

I really like this place and we go on a regular basis. Patio is nice. The food is always excellent. They also do take out .

It is difficult for me to give a low rating, but I must be honest about the poor quality of the food at this restaurant. I ordered vegetarian spring rolls and mango curry, but was disappointed with both dishes. The spring rolls seemed like they were frozen from the supermarket and the sweet chili sauce was watered-down. The mango curry only had two small pieces of mango and a very small portion of rice. However, our server was friendly and attentive. I would recommend avoiding the Thai food if you find yourself in Fenelon Falls.

We ordered two lunch specials (pad Thai and mango beef curry) along with spring rolls. While the food was tasty, it lacked the garnishes and flavor complexity found in Toronto Thai cuisine. The dishes were decent but could have been improved with more authentic Thai flavors. Overall, the presentation was lacking and resembled homemade meals. The washrooms were clean. If you're in the area and looking for a break from typical fast food options, this restaurant is worth a visit. Foodies may want to request for authentic Thai cooking to enhance the flavors of their dishes.
