Bidra med feedbackThis is such an excellent place nestled in the middle of the redwoods. Fabulous pool. Great lodging. Wonderful food. Great programs throughout the year for people of all ages. Great bookstore. Amazing facilities throughout the park. An outstanding place. I have spent many a visit here and each time was wonderful.
I really like their camping facilities and how convenient the locations are. They have plenty of double rooms with towels, pillows, sheets provided. Central heater and warm water provided as well. The cafe closes sharp one hour after each meal starts... if would be better if hot water is provided at nights(not in the cafe). I went on their ropes course and zip lining. The coaches were great to give clear instructions and lots of encouragement. I hope to come back to this campsite again!
This place is horrible. I came here and payed a lot of money for nothing. You have to pay extra for a meal plan after paying way too much. The food is also disgusting I found a piece of hair in my pasta. Usually I dont write reviews but I had to write this one for people to be warned. It is not fun. If you want to go to santa cruz book a hotel and cruz around. I would advise to never come.
This location is clean and inspiring. I've attended conferences here and have yet to have a rotten experience. The last event I attended was for the regional charter of the Alzheimer's Association. Service and meeting rooms were a blessed mixture of quirky and delightful. The bonus? I get to live very close to this location and work hard to keep the area that surrounds this center clean and free of crime. The maintenance crew at the Mount Hermon facility are cream of the crop and you can honestly tell they take immense pride in their work. I'm very proud of their outreach in taking away the trash left behind by the local homeless near their property and beyond. Their partnership with Felton has only grown stronger through the years. My friends who reside year round in Mount Hermon absolutely adore the little town and the community. Does make me wonder if those who work for the Christian center practice what is preached? Thinking that's a strong NO. One bad apple can spoil the whole impression.
This location is by far the best place I've been to for a retreat. My experience has mostly been bunkbeds and shared bathrooms for 50+ people and roughing it by my millennial standards. This place is the Disneyland of all retreat locations. The campgrounds are absolutely beautiful and I wish I had more time to spend here. There are hiking trails, a FITNESS CENTER (that I didn't use but nice to have the option!! , an ice cream shop/ snack shop, a coffee lounge, zip lining somewhere, and most importantly the rooms were so nice. I had 3 beds, a shower and 2 sinks! I would come back here just to spend a weekend away in nature!
