The old customs house lies on the connecting channel between narrow and wide luzin and has a large location advantage. the house is located directly at the end of the wide luzin at the transition to the narrow luzin. hotel room, restaurant and terrace with views of the lake. my wife and I had made a circular traffic of the narrow luzin of carwitz on the Easter Saturday of the year 2017 and planned to return to the half. once around the narrow luzin is a decent walk, especially when they leave the short luzin ferry and round the entire lake. seen from carwitz, the old customs house is the perfect return to the half of the way away, so it offered back. we had shut down the eastern side of the lake and were happy to come back. Unfortunately, the weather god had decided to make a day later in 2017 in the carwitz too fast, as an example for a very wintery wet easterfest and we led our steps in the rain shower to the door of the old customs house. the terrace was fixed on 15.4.2017 no option! it was 14 clock and we could choose among some empty tables. from the tables on the sea side they look at the lake: we were happy to sit in the dry! in the sunshine they should sit outside on the beautiful sea terrace! in the inner there is a device of very bright wood tones, the whole goes almost a little into the alps. the gas room radiates warmth and comfort. it was decorated with much love. the card was handed over and we have already ordered a lübzer pils. the map in the old customs house then prepares with its seasonal and regional reference more joy than the last night in the carwitz. some courts enthusiastic about our attention, but we didn't want to eat too much because we had already planned on Saturday evening with a restaurant visit. we chose more Vesper dishes. my wife ordered himself in cut cold pork. a jausenplatterl in Austria would not have imagined the hiker much differently. so that it fits the impression in the gas room! my wife didn't let her stick to her court. I ordered seasonal a beard frying sausage from the local metzger (in the map was named, unfortunately I no longer know the name.) about what else, bratkartoffeln and sour wort. the herb was served very purist, which I liked well, I don't need a spekke and others in a good sour wort. buffalo, this time, so that they also tasted me. well tanned, with spectacular and tweeping, with petersilie, how must be. then the bearded sausage. that was a big one, and yet the fairy-tale could unfold. the service was professionally handled by trained personnel. there was no reason for the cartilage. Conclusion: always a good choice to return to the feldberger landscape. we were there a lot and I'm sure we're back.
