Bidra med feedbackGreat spot for watching the sun set, a bit understaffed though so drinks take a while to get to the table!
There are so many bars/cafes in faro that you can safely miss this one out. Service is haphazard and beer not great. It’s also €2 for a small beer, which seems excessive.
We popped In to Eme for lunch whilst in Faro, glad we did we had garlic bread followed by Portuguese pork steak that came with rice, fried egg, salad and chips good portion size and very tasty, we also had 2 large somersby cinders and 2 large super bocks all for 30€, waitress was lovely and very attentive, lovely surroundings, can't understand why some people have slated the surroundings, you see what's around you when you go there, we found it very peaceful would have sat there in the sun all afternoon but we had to get a bus back to Albuferia, 100% recommend
We love coming here before our flight home. Friendly waiter. Great view of the marina. Basic chicken salad was lovely even though they didn’t have pineapple. Partner had a pleasant mushroom omelette, salad and chips. Forewent the crepe as there wasn’t any Nutella. Relaxing.
We came here for a pre-flight lunch because of the location looking over the marina, and in the sun. It was fairly easy to get an uncleared table (we had to clear it ourselves), and waited for our surly waitress to come over to take our order. She had no idea what was on the menu, and so we had to change our order several times. This should have been a sign to leave straight away, however we ordered 2 small beers, and 2 Greek savoury crepes. After waiting 20 minutes and seeing plenty of other tables arrive, and have their orders taken and fulfilled, I went into the bar to get our beers, by which time it appeared our crepes were ready, and the waitress and I bought our food and drinks out to our table. The crepes were advertised as containing Feta cheese, olives, onions, tomato and green peppers. It was more like a cold crepe containing feta cheese, onions, onions, more onions, an anaemic tomato, and some chunks of green pepper. Not an olive in sight. We were subsequently ignored, until we left. I still regret paying the cheque in full. It was a horrible experience, and truly a disappointment for our last few hours in Portugal.
