Detroit Crab House - Farmington Hills

They post gratuity added for party's of 6 or more. Upon inspection of my bill I found gratuity added on party of 2. Server will often mistaken your order. Be very cautious ordering. Although the food is always great I don't approve of their business practices.

Reviews have been mixed for this restaurant, so was nervous about eating here. We had a great dinner! We had the seafood soup which was delicious!! We also had a boil bag seasoned with old bay. It too was very good. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Would certainly dine here again!

Food was delicious! I loved everything... catfish was good, fries, hush puppies, seafood boil, ... the service was a bit slow but having dinner with my family made it alright, plus the taste of the food was really good! Thank you!

Honestly I’ve had the seafood boil a few different times and it’s always different. Sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s a 2/10 and frankly it’s too expensive to be a hit or miss. Last time I went the corn tasted really old and the shrimp definitely was not 1/2 lb, for sure less. The wait time is also quite long even though it’s never that many people there.

I ordered fried catfish for my mom and me and we got some other fish. My mom and me both agreed that it did not look or taste like catfish. I doubt it was a mistake because me and my mom was the only customer there.
