Taste 99 - Farmingdale

The Lessing's Group continues to impress me with service, food and culinary experience in all its restaurants. I had not dimmed on the Bethpage golf course in a few years. I always enjoyed the outdoor area in a nice evening, but was never overwhelmed by the food. Well, that certainly has changed! I understand that Lessing's Group bought this restaurant a few years ago and there is definitely a big difference! Let me start with our server Alysa. She was great! She was a wonderful personality, delivered great suggestions and extremely professional. She really had a wonderful style. So much that at the end of the meal it was almost as if it was part of our family! One of the most positive things about our culinary experience today was that Alysa was our server. If I own a business, I want Alysa to be one of the faces of my business. She's really a bright star! The administration of Edgar was also top-notch. He was old in his approach to his customers and really took care of our satisfaction. At the end of the meal he even bought us a round of drinks. It was really unexpected and he really appreciated. As for food, it was very good. Not only pub food, but dishes that were thrown up a notch. The Cauliflower Pizza crust with figures, goat cheese and balsamico was excellent! The wings were super tasteful. My Sonic Salad with Strawberry Cheese White Nuts Salmon was wonderful. The Brezel Appetizer was one of the best pretzels we ever had.... After all, my father's heritage was great. It was really a fantastic culinary experience and I can't expect to go back!

How nice to relax on a spacious terrace overlooking the gentle hills of Bethpage SP while enjoying lunch. Super friendly staff pushes this into five stars. This place will now rotate in my regular lunch or dinner.

I was a guest for an event. Although my GPS made me circle around this place twice, and after I asked one of the maintenance personnel, I found the place that was at the end of the road (in the middle). It is a beautiful place to keep the event. The entrance is beautiful as it mirrored the wall on both sides. A nice thing to have and good space for photos (if you are good, do not include your self through reflection). It has several rooms that can be used for any reason. The main hall is large enough to offer about 400 guests theatre style, which also looks at the golf course. Outdoor decorations are beautiful with seasonal flowers.

Went there to the lobster/Seafood buffet. worth it all the way. they served the lobster divided and half at a time, the crab legs were delicious and sweet, the shrimp was a beautiful size and well cooked. If you want to overload shellfish, reserve the buffet (on Monday evening) and go with an empty stomach. It'll take time to see a lobster again.

Fabulous public golf facility. A little quirky making a tee time but once you get the hang of it, it's oksy. The courses are in great shape. The greens are medium speed but smooth. Pace of play varies. Early mornings are great.
