Rafa's Cocina - Farmers Branch

Food was good but portions are small for the prices. Should be a more generous portion especially the meat part.

My husband brought me here for my birthday dinner, he knows how much I've been missing a taste of home (and I didn't want to cook it myself, lol). Very cute spot, super friendly and delicious food. We had the pechuga de pollo and the bistec encebollado. Tostones hit the spot! Can't wait to come back and get some mofongo. The flan is delicious. Don't sleep on Rafa's.

Too hot, no A/C in sitting area and sun is brightly hitting the tables. I could see some vents did have air towards the cash register. Appetizers served in a basket, served everyone on napkins. Salad not served on some plates as menu indicates due to owner stating no one eats the salad.

First time we visit and hands down a great experience! The taste is spot on traditional Puerto Rican. The service is outstanding as well. Highly recommend if you are in the area. ?
