Toscana - Fargo

I could not enjoy the food because of the service. The server was asked to bring more bread when she brought the soup. Instead of bringing it or telling me it was not available, she was at a different table, chatting up other customers. I had to repeat my request to the hostess. Then my entrée arrived before I was even half finished with the soup. As a last straw she gave me someone else 's check. At that point I asked to speak to the manager and after some evasion she claimed to be that manager. I emailed their site to the owners and never received a response.

The service is some of the best around and the atmosphere is very cozy and romantic. The food is outstanding. There are few restaurants that I can say I have never had a bad meal, but Toscana's is one of those places. Thank you, Toscana.

We celebrated our 17 year old German exchange student's birthday at Tuscona. We made reservations earlier that day and we didn't have to wait to be seated. The service was prompt and we were given a great deal of attention by our server. There were 5 of us and we ordered 4 pasta dishes and 1 meat and potato dish. They were all very good with rich flavors; the pasta dishes we fantastic especially the gnocchi dish and the penne/shrimp dish. The desserts were delicious; we received a free dessert because of the birthday and we ordered a second dessert (tiramisu and chocolate fudge cake). We will return.

From start to finish everything we experienced was wonderful. Service was above and beyond, it is obvious that their staff is very happy with what they do, and know their stuff. The food was all cooked to perfection. Overall Great evening.

I happened across Toscana. The food was superb indicating a fine hand in the kitchen respecting the great ingredients. The service was efficient and friendly. EXCELLENT WINE LIST!
