Bidra med feedbackEven on closing night, with a packed house and supplies running low, Pizzeria Orso did not disappoint. A long time fave of ours, we are broken hearted that it is now closed. The crowds all week and last night were testament to its excellence all around and its popularity. This is a real loss for Falls Church and all of us long time patrons
We LOVED Pizzeria Orso and are so heartbroken that it closed. It was our favorite family date night location with great family friendly food, a lovely atmosphere, and solid service. It will truly be missed in this area :
We are always happy with the experience at Pizzaria Orso. The pizza is our favorite in town, with the crust being the best version of the wood oven fired pizza around. We are so very sad that they are closing, and hope that they are able to find another location locally so that the community can continue to enjoy them for years more to come!
Love everything about Pizzeria Orso! We've been coming here for 10+ years and my kids, the dog, husband all love it here. Crispy Brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese, wood fired pizza and their pasta were all always the best.
First time here I have to say I loved the pizza! We started with cocktails:*Makers Mark drink delicious! Orange lemon flavors were delightful (wish I had ordered *Raspberry gin drink not great I fishy taste any raspberry the vermouth was overwhelming BUT I am not a fan of vermouth so that’s on me*Dirty Martini my next order after the gun drink didn’t do it ehhhh just ok not the best the olives were not up to par for a real dirty drinkAppetizers:*Mushroom soup yum! Lacked a bit of seasoning but a pinch of salt grind of pepper fixed that right up! Also LOVE that they have real black pepper grinders!*Arancini surprisingly good! I’m not usually a fan as the rice is typically over cooked into a mushy paste it never has enough cheese but these were the opposite! While they lacked a bit of seasoning the marinara sauce was a perfect accompaniment!*Caesar salad DO NOT ORDER! I hate that I have to share this but this salad might be the WORST I have ever had! Dry wilted at the same time zero flavor plus it had a dark appearance to it didn’t look great tasted even worsePizza: (the reason we came here! *Toscana delicately sliced salty prosciutto with crispy peppery arugula topped off this thin perfectly cooked pizza! A shake of red pepper flakes and sprinkle of extra cheese elevates it!*Crudo went with a new style it paid off! Sautéed onions meets creamy melted cheese with spicy sausages blistered shishito peppers made this a hit!Wine:*Nero d’Alvaro yum! I wanted a bottle! They didn’t have the Montepulciano I ordered but this was a happy replacement!Over all this place is a MUST try! Although as I was writing this review I learned that they were closing next week soul crushing news as I thought I had just found a new slice of heaven place for pizza!I hope they can stay that the pizza gods above can find a way. Until then I bow to return veggie they close (Feb.18 .Family atmosphere nothing fancy. Dated tables decor. Full bar, plenty of seating a cute outdoor patio. It was packed at 5:30pm kept a steady clientele through 7pm. Notice level moderate easy to hear talk with people at your table while enjoying the lively atmosphere. Service was a 4 out of 5 very friendly staff but as they got busier it was harder to attend to refills on wine. Definitely a must eat place!Overall 3.5 FORKS (out of 5
