This restaurant exists discrimination issue. Double check the price on your menu.A middle-aged waitress with long hair who speaks Chinese is very rude. This restaurant has different menus for Chinese and Americans, different prices on the small bills, and a mandatory 18% tip for five people at lunchtime. Because of the poor service and the different prices, we said we didn 't want to tip. The waitress shouted to us, You must tip, I am the one who collects tips. I just don 't like to serve Chinese people like you. When she was asked why the menu was more expensive for Chinese people, she explained the same dish to the American and Chinese is different, because the Chinese seasoning more so expensive, see the customer is Chinese to give the Chinese version of the menu. She said Post me on social media, I don 't care. We don 't need Chinese customers .1. As consumers see their receipts and menu prices are not the same, can not ask the reason?2. Shouldn 't the price of treating dishes of different racial groups be the same?3. We understand the need for waiters to tip, but at least look at your own service attitude? The last thing the waiter said was you don 't want to come, don 't come. I don 't need you to come . Yes, there is no next time for this kind of attitude.

Initially I had no idea how this happened as I hadn’t used my card in over a week besides buying the Chinese food the day before. I got that straightened out but why I’m putting this here is because it happened again today.I ordered from them a couple days ago and my card was used again at a Best Buy. I wouldn’t blame them if my purchasing their food wasn’t the ONLY thing in common from the now 2 rare times my card information has ever been stolen. I don’t know if it’s their terribly made website or if the workers themselves are noting the information but I’m not letting it happen again.It’s a real shame because their food and service is really good both times I’ve ordered. I probably had their food two other times but I ordered through 3rd party delivery services.The food really is good and all the employees I’ve encountered have been so sweet but I cannot give them a good review with shady stuff like this happening. Be smart and if you must patronize them, use cash.

Poor Customer-Service. Dine-in experience was downright deplorable. We originally came in for takeout. After a while of standing around waiting for someone to take our order- we sat down were served by a gentleman who had a hard time understanding us. After receiving the food order-which appeared incomplete did not match the menu prices, a female front of house worker addressed our concern regarding the food and incorrect prices. Her reasoning behind the menu prices not matching the price on our receipt was that “we just don’t have people right now to do that” (regarding the reprinting of menus reflecting the new prices). After we stated a couple more of our concerns she told us: “If you’re not happy-just go SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This quickly became one of my DC-area go-tos, and a family favorite. I truly appreciate that they do Chinese home cooking authentically while providing less ‘scary’ options so I can invite my less adventurous foodie friends to enjoy as well. The variety of offerings is impressive, they actually make things hot when I ask them to (one of the few restaurants that isn’t scared to do so! , and the decor is just icing on the cake. I really do love this place. Xie xie! :

We’ve been dining at Jasmine Garden since they opened about 18 years ago. You know what, the flavor remains delicious, if not better. Talking about those authentic traditional Chinese dishes, especially the Jasmine Hot Spicy Fish Fillet, Shredded Beef with Chili Pepper, they are out of the world. You can tell the owner cares about the food quality. Warm and friendly service, it’s my family go to place for authentic Chinese food.
