Bidra med feedbackPlace is in serious need of a Food Network Restaurant: Impossible makeover. Front door entrance is splattered all over with cobwebs. Some ceiling tiles are water damaged and badly in need of replacing. Tables were clean. Silverware was available on tables. Maybe they didn 't recover well since pandemic. Sign when enter says Seat Yourself. There was a small wait after we sat ourselves until server finally saw us from patio and came over. Only 2 single person tables were dining. Waitress was very nice conversational tho. Food is still good despite decor. Seafood offerings are varied, baked, fried, or broiled. This place has declined like a lot of places, post-pandemic.
My hubby and I enjoyed an amazing afternoon on the patio recently! The service is beyond great! Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered cocktails to start. My hubby ordered a stuffed quahog to start which I tasted and wow! Super yummy! He's originally from here but now lives in Texas so he misses those so much! It was definitely the best I'd tasted yet! I love that it had a little kick to it. I ordered the baked scallops as my entree which was accompanied by a side dish of mashed squash and roasted potatoes. So much food! The scallops were seated on a bed of braised chard. A delight to the tastebuds! My husband ordered the clam boil and cleaned the plate! They were boiled to perfection and beautifully presented as well! We'll definitely return when in town again! Highly recommended!
We went to Lepages twice now since it's changed hands. They have music weekly which is awesome. The food is delish! They do have to fix the place up but be patient and give them some time to make money and fix it. Go and get some great food! You'll be glad you did! The clam cakes are perfect, and they had a seafood platter on special that was so so so good! We will definitely continue to go to them and we hope others go as well so they stay around for a long time :
The first thing you'll notice is the rancid smell coming from the side of the building, then The entrance has cobwebs, dead bugs, spiders and flies literally all over the door handle. We walked in and were told to go to the lounge where we were seated next to a window that had more dead flies, living flies and cobwebs. No air conditioning so we were roasting. The menu was minimal, we ordered drinks and my coke had 2 dead flies and a rainbow film ontop. My wife's ice tea was creamy and awful. We decided that after the awful smell coming from the building, the flies, spiders and cobwebs on the front door , the flies and cobwebs in the window sills , the lack of air conditioning and the 2 dead flies in my oily coke that it was time to leave and never ever go back.
Did not appreciate having to seat ourselves, and waiting 20 minutes, and no-one came to our table, not even to bring us water, the place was not even packed , empty tables throughout, and a very basic menu, poor quality of service, won't be back .
