Bidra med feedbackOur waitperson was walking around aimlessly, without rhyme or reason. I guess she never heard the adage, use your head and save your feet , it took forever to get a coffee refill and it was fifty minutes for a couple of eggs and sausage.. Just okay. I wouldn 't run back..
Okay, so we were on our way home from Cape Cod, and we just happened to be driving through Fall River. Short version: we ended up in the parking lot of Al Mac 's Diner. Justly famous since 1910, the sign said. Then another sign in the window says, DELICIOUS PANCAKES. Given I hadn 't had a real breakfast yet, the pancakes sounded pretty darn good.So we went inside, and the whole place looks like this art deco train car, which is really cool. Anyway, I opted for a vanilla milkshake as a drink, and I am glad I did. It tasted so delightfully creamy, especially with the whipped cream on top.And yes, I did go for those delicious pancakes. I went for two buttermilk pancakes and a side of bacon, which tasted like it was cooked just right. The pancakes were so light and fluffy, and I tried to wolf down as much as I could, because those pancakes were soooo darn good!!The wait staff there is super nice, and I can tell they genuinely appreciated our business. I love these fun local places to eat, and this is definitely one of them. Definitely check this place out if you haven 't already, you will be glad you did. And if you have to waddle like a stuffed penguin back to the car, consider that a bonus.
This place is a national treasure…what more could you ask for? The food is great, the service is friendly and your coffee is always filled. We’ll be back again whenever we’re in the area!!
The waitstaff is all very friendly and was super accommodating to my toddler however the food was okay at best and pricey for the quality. I don't wanna pay $40 for two people and leave hungry due to small portion sizes. There are limited beverage options with no free refills on any of the juices. The home fries are extremely greasy and my fiancée recieved over cooked bacon. If you have a child be warned they do not have a children's menu. Kid-friendliness: Not the best place to dine with Children
Very expensive and way to noisy. I left there with a headache. Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair access.
