Bidra med feedbackHarding University students had a great experience at Aromas. The food was tasty, the staff was attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We were greeted with smiles and open arms. We can't wait to visit again in May 2020.
I had lunch with my mom at this restaurant and we both have high standards when it comes to service and food quality. We were both very pleased with our experience here. I ordered a salad plate with Turkey, York ham, coleslaw, ripe tomato slices, peppers, and lettuce, all for the great price of £4.25. The menu also offers other options like rolls, baguettes, sandwiches, and baked potatoes with various fillings, all at reasonable prices. The presentation of the food was excellent, and as someone with a food hygiene qualification, I was impressed with the temperature of the food. My mom had lentil soup which was hot and delicious, and a great value at £1.90 a bowl. We also enjoyed tea, scones, and coke, all for around £11. Another customer leaving the restaurant recommended the stovies, which were also reasonably priced at around £3.75. The service was fast and friendly, despite some negative reviews I had read. My only complaint was that the ladies' toilet only had one towel to dry hands, which I avoided for hygiene reasons. The restaurant had numerous food hygiene certificates on display, which was reassuring. The homemade cakes and sponges looked delicious. Overall, our experience at this restaurant was excellent and I would definitely return for the food quality and service.
I found the young blonde girl to be quite rude and abrupt, but the new staff members were friendlier. The food was nice, although they never seemed to change the lentil soup. It was good value for money, but they could use some improvements to update and attract new customers. The specials board menu and the soup options have remained the same for years.
I used to enjoy this cafe a few years back. However my last few visits have not been the most pleasant of experiences. The staff behind counter are always ok, but regular waitress has no manner whatsoever, and is anything but welcoming. 3/4 filled coffee cups, and scones extremely dry...probably the day befores. ...I was also overcharged, but rather than complain have decided just not to go back..There are many coffee shops in falkirk where you are served with a smile and a little conversation. The waitress needs to learn how to treat customers.
This place could be very good .. but it's not. Not very welcoming, it looks and smells a bit like an old folks home. Too much going on ... plants, nick-necks, pictures .. probably needs to look at it's financials and figure out what works best for it (probably the café and drop the rest. Food ok but needs much better surroundings.
