Bidra med feedbackI had not eaten this chain in a few years, but was pleasantly surprised. Was?t clearly spotless in the restaurants so had not high hopes, but the service was excellent!! We had only appetizers and salads and they were great and came quickly and correctly (have listed several changes to salad on the map)
Kensi C., our server was very attentive. It was obvious to us that she was really interested in our Friday dining experience. She was very personal and professional. The food was hot and delicious.
Good, except for a dish containing shrimp. Since the shrimp and chicken shell was mixed with a sauce over potatoes, the shrimp shell should have been removed on the trail before serving. It was not good to suddenly realize that you crack on the shell of a shrimp tail. No excuse, because the restaurant was practically empty by customers.
An employee and I went in and there were no hosts available immediately. We finally sat. We sat there for a while and waited for our waitress. until our waitress appeared to get our drink order, we were ready to order our food. We've been waiting for drinks and appetizers for a long time. The Mozzarella sticks were very hot and very stringy, melty and delicious. Much better than cool, solid mozzarella sticks. My staff didn't order Pico de Gallo on his appetizers, but it came to it anyway. The waitress said I swear I told them not to put it there. And went away to never be seen again. The food finally came. I have a Burger and Pommes. The woman who delivered the food used to care if there was something else she could get us. Our drinks had been empty at this point for a few minutes, so I asked for refills. She mocked our drinkshade when she rounded the corner. The burger was not well done as I ordered. It was pink and very juicy. Not good. The juice ran my fingers down and saturated the soggy-back. The Pommes were actually the best part of the meal. There was a strong taste of natural potato that I enjoy very much. We got another refill when the bill was delivered. That was Friday afternoon at 2:00. The restaurant was not busy, there were maybe 4 other mozens in the restaurant. With the unattended waiters and wrong orders, I would stay away from this place. I can only imagine the chaos when we stop eating at a busy time. Although I think her secret is already out, so the empty parking lot when we visit.
We had an overall very positive experience at Friday's. I was shocked because we went there after the O'Fallon high School graduation and I just assumed that they would be packed but there was pretty much no one there. So we got instantly seated and we're able to order pretty quickly and everything went off without a hitch. The waitress was very kind and very attentive and that wasn't a problem either. Overall I really didn't have any issues with our experience but nothing on the menu jumped out to me. It was all pretty typical for an Applebee's or Fridays or a 54th Street grill kind of place. I ended up ordering the Philly cheese steak burger and it was fine just kind of boring. I would still go back but I guess I have to spend more time trying to find something on the menu that was different
