I found this place on yelp and came in based on the recommendations. So glad I did. I came in with a friend and ordered the shrimp basket blackened. I had it with the potato salad. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the seasoning was very tasty. The potato salad was creamy and had some bacon in it. Also delicious. I loved the feel of the place. Feels like an old fish camp. Great outdoor seating but you can also eat inside. Our server was very knowledgeable and honest about things she liked on the menu. It was such a great experience that I brought my husband back two days later and had another great meal. We both had the blackened shrimp and fish baskets. Delicious. Come in. You will be glad you did.

Just what I wanted. A local, no frills bar and restaurant by the river. Food was great, as was the service.

I absolutely loved this spot. One, giant sandbox with toys to entertain your toddler while you sit at picnic tables close by and enjoy your meal. Two, food was real good. And three, I 'm sure you can ask what 's in the cocktails with fun names but I just shot my shot and hoped for the best and ordered a couple River Water was I think an AMF which brought me back to college. And there was some type of rum punch, that was good too. This place is awesome.

What a great find! A down to earth place where you might feel like you're eating in a friendly kitchen or a back porch on the river. If you order a double burger, be prepared...it's a commitment. Nothing fancy, just really good.
