Shandeez Restaurant - FAIRFIELD EAST

Came as a guest. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a middle eastern place which I miss because I like the soft taste of the rice! The favourite out of the lot is the eggplant it’s just so good. A must try!

My go to place for Persian food. May not be the best Persian restaurant in Sydney (the staff may not be friendly at times but the food and complimentary bread makes up for it. My recommendation is the baghali polo (love the fluffy rice flavoured with dill more than the lamb shank that comes with it! . Or if you're adventurous, try the khaleh pacheh: soup commonly eaten breakfast time during Ramadan. Really fatty but comes with sheep's foot and brains (the best bit!

I've never had Persian food before but I checked out Shandeez restaurant via the Global Explorer Tour as part of the Taste Food Tour.  The decore immediately got all of our attention on the tour. For full review including photos, please go to the blog post.

Very good eating experience...from walking in the door and being greeted, seated and order taken all was great. Meal was served hot and scrumptious. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is one of the finest Iranian restaurants in Sydney. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff was attentive and respectful. I will definitely return!
