China Star - Fairfax

Every few years when I visit Fairfax, I revisit this place for scallion fried fish and they never disappoint. I'll be coming here for as long as they're open. GREAT food.

I have been calling China Star for delivery within the past 3 months or so. I always give them a $7 to $10 tip. Today, I made a call to them again, and the lady on the phone was being obnoxious and actually sighed twice during our conversation. She first blamed me for getting the number of apple juice wrong. Then she said she will give me a free order of fried crabmeat cheese wontons because I did not get one yesterday even though my order from yesterday had

Used to love their food but they recently raised prices and cut the quality on top of that. We ordered House Lo mein and House Fried Rice which usually comes with beef, pork and chicken. I specifically requested beef instead of pork and instead got nothing but chicken. When I called to complain they told me I should have called sooner.

Very nice with great customer service. Food was good. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken (Lg)LG. I recommend this restaurant.

This is our first time dining in instead of our usual takeout. The food is just wonderful. Our waitress was very helpful in accommodating one of our guest's diet restrictions. This place should be packed with diners.
