The Hungry Robot - Fairbanks

Finally, it made it back to fairbanks and could not go until I tried hungry robot. fantastic! we ordered the deluxe and were not disappointed. Love the Chest. great service. great work, randy!

Whoa. The pulled pork pizza is a gourmet out of this world kind of experience. Brilliant crust. Perfect single person pizza size, big enough to take a slice home for a snack later. I also tried the J Pop pizza and it was yummy, like a deconstructed jalapeño popper, pizza style. Great service and industrial atmosphere. Menu on the wall awkward to navigate, would have loved a plastic menu to hold in my hand. Clean place, great vibes, yummy food!

Really cool place, hidden away. Good selection of pizza toppings, thin crust and cooked in a timely manner. Now if you like cold pizza, this is not for you. It is not good cold....sorry

I look for wood fired pizza on every trip I take and I was looking forward to finally trying the Hungry Robot. When you get a wood fired Pizza you expect a few things and one is opposing textures of the bottom and top of the pizza. The bottom should be nice and crisp while the top of the pizza soft and chewy, unfortunately this pizza was soft all over with no crispy bottom. Typically with a wood fired pizza you will also get a little bit if that smokey flavor, this did not have it. The sauce unfortunately was bland and the basil had a twang like it was on the verge of turning bad. The one good thing about the pizza was the mozzarella, very good. The location is poorly lit and made it hard to navigate without missing the turn bc of poor lighting and bc maps tells me I arrived in the middle of the road. Unfortunately this continues a trend I have had from visiting restaurants featured on triple D, not impressed and over hyped. Bummer, I was really looking for to this too.

Pretty abysmal pizza. I ordered a large and it was the size of a medium at best. I ordered a Supreme and it had hardly any toppings, including hardly any cheese. The crust was burnt on the bottom. Not sure if this is their regular output, but I am pretty bummed out.
