Bidra med feedbackMy extended family from the US and UK meet for a week in a cottage in Kingsbridge, Devon. Charli catered for us four times and we enjoyed every morsel. Highly recommended.
Booked a table for lunch with a group of friends. Fantastic service, extremely friendly service and staff. For ease we just ordered all of the starters and sides to share tapas style. Every dish was superbly presented and absolutely delicious. Amazing good and excellent wine. Can't wait to return.
Enjoyed a late lunch here. Beautiful surrounding area with lovely views. Food very nice but as we dined late, (2.30pm) quite a few of the menu choices were not available. Not the nicest of journeys to reach the cafe as it’s mainly a single track road with passing places. Staff nice and efficient.
What an amazing lunch food was incredible high end restaurant experience with a great location. Excellent service. Would highly recommend.
The restaurant offers a relaxed, continental atmosphere with outdoor seating under cover. Guests can enjoy fabulous views of the River Dart south of Totnes. It was nice to see a diverse crowd, including families, walkers, and locals, enjoying a leisurely lunch. The food was just as impressive as the setting, starting with fluffy focaccia and coarse hummus as a delicious appetizer. The starters were substantial, with whipped goat's cheese and candied walnuts complementing the ham hock terrine, piccalilli, and toasted sourdough. The fresh salad was mixed with pickled fennel, courgettes, and radishes for a perfect balance. A glass of Pinot Rose paired well with the meal. Though we skipped the mains, they looked equally inventive and colorful, with options like lamb and tempura broccoli. The food is all super fresh, utilizing the estate's own produce when possible, and the service is both friendly and efficient. The restaurant will soon be relocating to a new vineyard across the river, but hopefully they maintain their warm charm and exciting menu.
