Thirsty Moose Tap House- Exeter

I will forever dine here when I’m in town! On Mother’s Day we visited for lunch while in town for a hockey tournament. The food and service were fantastic. Unfortunately, when we arrived home we realized my son had left his blanket there. When I called you could hear the relief in the hostess’ voice that we had tracked it back to them. Instantly, I was hesitant about how to get it back since it is about a 2 hr drive for us. I asked if they would mail it out and I could reimburse them for the freight. They were so accommodating and insisted it was on them that they were happy I found it. My son and I are forever indebted to them. IYKYK. They were so professional. We will definitely be back when we are in town…Always! Check them out!

The food was delicious, the waitresses were friendly, and whoever made my coconut. Margarita did an awesome job!

Brought the family and we all had a great time. Server attentive to the needs of four year olds and octogenarian. I'm celiac so need gluten free and they had a separate gluten free menu which is rare for this style restaurant. The pizza was excellent with a nice crust unlike the usual gf cracker with cheese and tomato sauce. The burgers others enjoyed were properly cooked with fresh and crispy veggies. Everyone raved about their fries.

My wife and I ordered some takeout on our way home from the vet's office. We really looked forward to it because we had eaten here before and it was really good. Unfortunately they don't put the same care into their to-go orders. My chicken sandwich was so overcooked it was inedible and the toppings were half on the sandwich and half on the to go container. The salmon we ordered was dry. The French fries were great though the Cajun parm tots had little to no Cajun and no parm at all. Hopefully, next time, if there is one, a little more care will be taken.
