Bidra med feedbackI tried a hibiscus mezcal margarita, vegan empanadas, and vegan enchiladas at this Latine owned restaurant with my friends who live nearby. The margarita was good, but the empanadas needed more flavor and the chimichurri was dry. The enchiladas were pretty tasty, with delicious salsa verde and mole on top, but could use more filling. Overall, the staff was kind and the vibe and decor were cute, but they may need to improve their vegan options. It was nice to see more restaurants opening up in the city.
I had high hopes for Unidad, but unfortunately, I ended up getting food poisoning. I had the Seitan Carnitas, which was the only dish I ate that no one else in my group tried. It seemed to be the culprit since I was the only one who got sick. Despite the food poisoning and throwing up in the bathroom before paying the bill, it was a pleasant evening overall.
I had a hibiscus mezcal margarita, vegan empanadas, and the vegan enchiladas. the margarita was good, the empanadas needed more taste, and the enchiladas were quite delicious. the chimhurri on the empanad and the filling itself was quite bland and the chimurri was dry. the salsa verde and mol on the top of the enchiladas was delicious, but the enchiladas themselves could have used more filling (can mushrooms or carrots). the other people in my party were quite satisfied with taking one who hated their dinner dish (they are all not-vegan). overall it was great to visit a new restaurant in Latin style. I live in the city and visited this place with my friends who live near. it is great to see more restaurants that open up. the personal was friendly and the vibe and decor itself is cute, but they need to work on their vegan options.
Well, I really wanted to like unidad, but I ended up with food poisoning and threw into her bathroom before we paid the leak. I had the carnitas since then and that was the only thing I ate that nobody else touched our party so that the guilty had to be because I was the only one who got sick. Apart from the violent nausea, it was a nice night out.

The salsa verde and mol on the top of the enchiladas was delicious, but the enchiladas could have used more filling (can mushrooms or potatoes). The other people in my party were quite satisfied except one who hated their dinner plate (they are all not-vegan). Overall, it was great to visit a new Latin-style restaurant.
