Buck's American Cafe - Everett

This restaurant looked nice from the outside. We arrived 1.5 hours before closing time as indicated on the door. My boyfriend was eager to try their meatloaf, but since I had never been there before, I needed some time to decide. Upon entering, we were informed that the kitchen was closing, but if we placed our order immediately, they would still serve us. I explained that I needed to see the menu first, as I was unfamiliar with their offerings. They provided us with brunch menus, even though it was dinner time and brunch items were not available. After waiting for a correct menu and no one coming to assist us promptly, I had to go to the bar to request one myself. The waiter then came over and pressured us to place our order right away, despite me just receiving the correct menu. Feeling uncomfortable and rushed, my boyfriend suggested we leave and go somewhere else. It was not a pleasant experience and we likely will not return. Even though they were closing early due to lack of customers, we saw two other couples arriving at the same time, potentially looking to dine there.

I am very picky when it comes to food and there are not a lot of options available. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and the Cobb salad. Both dishes were fantastic and we finished our plates completely. 10 out of 10!
