Spicy Thai Cuisine - Evansville

Pretty average spot for Thai food. We were in the area and wanted some Thai so decided to stop in and try it. It wasn't hard at all to find this place, and it's in a plaza so finding a parking spot wasn't hard at all. Service wise, they were pretty nice. The customer service was pretty good. The iced coffee tasted house made. One of the things I tried was the rice noodle soup with beef. The costs was about $14. Compared to where I'm from, it runs a little higher in this area. Garnishments- it came out with some beansprouts. Sriracha was available upon request, and I'm not sure if they had hoisin sauce since we didn't ask for it. The broth wasn't bad. It was more towards the sweet side. I also tried the beef nam tok. I asked for glutinous rice (sticky rice) but they didn't have it available that day, so I got it with some jasmine rice. What I liked about the dish here, is that the lettuce was pretty good. I liked that it didn't come out with iceberg lettuce, as I'm not a fan of iceberg lettuce. The chunks of beef itself, was a little hard to chew. The beef was a little tough. The flavor wasn't bad though. I also liked that the rice wasn't old. I've eaten at places that have served me old, colored rice. Their rice was clean and white. In all, I didn't have a bad experience.

This place is a must try! I am new to Thai food and they set the bar high. The temperature of the protein was not warm enough for the boys honey chicken or my pork. Other than that it was fantastic! We will return. It's not over the top on atmosphere and it's a simple place. The flavors are bold. The service was great! I am a flavor junkie and have been intimidated by Thai and now disappointed I haven't tried it sooner. Only thing keeping the fifth star was the protein temp. It may be on purpose as I am not exempt from ignorance. Well done y'all! Thank you for a great meal!

Very good! Food is amazing, staff are very friendly, wait times are low, and price is very reasonable.

I've had pretty much everything on the menu. Curries are all delicious. Egg rolls are delicious. My favorite menu items are Pad see ewe and Tom Yum. Everything tastes fresh and owner is so nice.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in town. The food is amazing (the best Thai we’ve ever had), and the staff is so friendly. Highly recommend!
