Moe's Southwest Grill - Evansville

Closed months ago. Good salsa, bad food due to poorly trained staff, led them to their demise.

Signage is covered and location is completely closed.

Took close to 20 minutes to serve 2 people. Turn over rate here is ridiculous they can't keep employees. Food is ok but not worth the wait.

Super yummy and way shorter lines compared to other counters at the rest stop. Hit Moe's instead of the others at Hat Six.

The first trip there was great. I ordered on the app and the food was ready when quoted. It was made correctly with the perfect amount of fixins. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The second day was a little different. I ordered the stacker and it was filled with some great fresh cilantro, lettuce, and ground beef but the staff member left it on the grill too long while he had to adjust the payment because of an overcharge. While he was working through the overcharge the manager came by to help but did not recognize or say anything to me. It was a very unwelcoming feeling as if I was a bother because I was overcharged. After close to 7 minutes went by it was finally corrected but my food was just being flipped. As you can see in the photo it was charred on one side because it was not evenly cooked. If I weren't in a rush I would have requested a remake but I had to suck it up. It tasted burnt on the tortilla and was not of good quality. Not sure I would return.
