Yeero Revolution - Evanston

This is probably the most unique 'Yeero ' (gyro restaurant in the Chicago area. Most Greek fast food or fast casual places in the area use Kronos for their meat, which is good but when most places are using that it doesn 't make for the most unique experience. Yeero Revolution on the other hand, has several different meats that don 't use any binders or ground meat. It 's similar to shawarma and tastes fresh and more authentic than Kronos. They have Angus beef lamb (my fav , chicken, pork belly (honestly where can you get this in a gyro in this area? , and pork and chicken skewers. The yeero 's come with fries or you can sub in rice instead. Their house made tzatziki is great and so are their yogurt and pitas. Overall it 's a great place. Highly recommend.

The pork belly gyro was tasty but it did take 15 minutes for my order to come up. My order of fries was a bit on the skimpy side, but no complaints otherwise.

Wow, we had a great dinner last night here. First, the place is super new, clean and modern. It's a cozy space with just a few tables and counters but it wasn't crowded when we came and found seating easily. Now, let's talk about the yeeros. Wow. I had the pork belly and it was amazing. Super savory and delicious. My wife had the chicken and loved it. The fries were just right and overall, this had to be one of the best yeeros I've ever had. I should add that the staff was super friendly and personable. I think it was the owner who gave our son a free tasting of the yogurt and toppings. All the toppings are homemade. I recommend the baklava if you have any room left over. It was standout. So yeah, this is a great place. Highly recommend it!

Best gyros I've ever had. very lean beef, no fat or grease like the traditional gyros I've had. Also the fresh cut fries were great. nice clean restaurant. I highly recommend this place.
