Bidra med feedbackChange the name from World of Beer to Evanston Pub. Nice place to hang out with friends that have a great variety of beers. They have a lot of place and usually it's a safe bar to come as a party. They have some good small bite food like the bagel and some disappointing ones like the mini burgers. The service is mostly ok, sometime they have issues. But again you mostly will have a good experience.
Wide variety of beer. Food card be a hit or miss. Don't be afraid to ask your server what beers you should try based on what you like and if you're lucky they can guide you to some really great beers and ciders that you would have never thought to have tried.
Really enjoyed the shrimp tacos and the tater tots were crisp and delicious. This is a really fun establishment, there are so many beer options on draft and in bottles. There are also tons of TVs to watch. Happy Hour specials are great too!!
Massive selection of beers, friendly staff. The heating had packed up on one of the coldest days I have ever known but despite this we had a great time with the beer flights. Well worth popping in to if you are in Evanston.
Alderman Mandude and I came here after the Rubblebucket show on St. Patrick's Day and it did NOT disappoint! The place had emptied out by the time we got there but it didn't matter because there was kareoke, baby! I did Mr. Brightside by the Killers and Tom Petty's Refugee. Should've done some 80's songs because I stunk it up. The Alderman, however, fared much better! He joined in on a bachelor party's rendition of Piano Man, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house! Unbelievable performance! A few songs after that 3 Northwestern graduate students attempted to tackle Dirty Little Secret, but something was lacking... oh yeah, MANDUDE! He joined the trio on stage and managed to take it to new heights. The whole place stood and applauded. All in all, a wonderful experience. Great Gunniess on draught. Would return.
