Bidra med feedbackThis is one of my favorite sushi spots in the CSRA! Really love the southwest Tex-Mex type fusion they have on their menu. This makes it easier to dine with friends and family that don?t particularly enjoy sushi. Although if they are new to the sushi experience this would be a great place to take them so they can explore the different options they have. I once brought a friend who didn?t like sushi here and they tried a flash fried breaded sushi roll to start with andloved it. From then on they continued to venture to the other rolls and now they love sushi! They do offer outdoor seating and have another location in Augusta that is a little smaller but still very good. Definitely give this place atry if your in the mood for sushi, nachos, taquitos or even a good burger. Another one of my favorite appetizers is their tempura Asparagus.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Food there is really good but their sushi is the BEST! They have fried asparagus with their spicy Mayo and it?s soooo good! Their queso with chorizo dip is soooo good! Definitely my go to place every week!
I recently discovered that my good friend James had never tried sushi...until today! Thanks to our friends at Takosushi, I had the opportunity to introduce him to this delightful Asian cuisine. For our appetizer, we ordered the Tempura Asparagus—it's a must-have when visiting Takosushi! I aimed to select some milder rolls to help ease James into the sushi experience. With the assistance of our waitress, we chose three rolls: the Pajama Roll, the Cary's Roll, and the Firecracker Roll. We enjoyed all of them, but both of us agreed that the Pajama Roll was our favorite. The combination of cucumber, spicy tuna, and crab created a perfect medley of flavors. James loved the sushi and expressed a desire to return. I strongly encourage everyone to try something new, whether it be a different dish at your favorite spot or exploring an entirely new restaurant. Just step out and give something new a chance!
The sushi roll selection is excellent, and the service is quick and friendly. Be sure to try the fried asparagus and sample a couple of appetizers.
I love the fried asparagus; the sauce on top really enhances the flavor, and it's always crispy. The potstickers are also fantastic. As for sushi, I'm a big fan of the Kevin roll. The crispy shrimp in the center adds a nice crunch, which I really enjoy. They have a wide selection, so be sure to try as many as you can. Regarding the "taco" section of the menu, it's more southwestern-style rather than traditional Mexican. While I'm a traditionalist when it comes to Mexican food, it was still tasty. I tried the taquitos, and they were a great option for that one friend who doesn't eat seafood but still wants to join you at a sushi restaurant! I would definitely recommend this place for some excellent sushi.
