Hunan - Eureka

The Khoa Piak soup special is my favorite thing on the menu! It is the best, hearty, flavorful, and heals what ails you! Comes with fresh cilantro, lime, and side sauces to make it even more delicious.

Ordered takeout. No napkins or plastic silverware provided. We are not local and did not have access to these items which made food difficult to eat. We were 20 minutes away before we realized that. Food was bland and tofu was dry and overcooked. Alacart entrees do not include rice and I did not see that noted on the online menu or would not have chosen an alacart item.

The Khao Piak is Amazing! Chicken noodle leveled up! The Crab Cheese Puffs and the Pork Fried Rice are the best in Humboldt hands down.

So freaking good! The best sit down Chinese food in Eureka, maybe all Humboldt county. Great portions and didn’t break the bank! I would highly recommend for a date night. Service was excellent our server was charming and you could tell he really loved his job!

Really disappointed. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. After many years the food wasn't as good, but with the change in ownership I had hope. Initially, my first couple of orders were a mix of some great and not so great dishes, then it was briefly all very good. This last order was terrible. They seem to have changed up the recipes for some basic items- egg rolls, Chinese chicken salad, etc, and honestly I couldn't eat some of it. I am not sure what they used to tenderize the chicken but it didn't even seem like meat anymore it was so off putting in its texture. I'm incredibly sad to say that I think it's the last time I will be ordering from a restaurant I have gone to for many, many years.
