Bidra med feedbackWe had a light lunch in the awe of our 3 michelin stars evening dinner to michel guérard and: tomatensuppe perfectly seasoned and probably the best chocolate cake of all time (I tried to get the recipe, but could not, it is not even available in. the famous cookbook. beautiful seating on the terrace with a great view of the anwesen parc and on the main street of eugenie les bains tiny village.
Fine snackbar, which is part of the michel Guérard complex. fone decor, friendly staff, beautiful snacks on the basis of traditional French cuisine. good handmade beer and the selection of wines by the glass.
Through the small village eugenie les bains we have discovered this wonderful caffe. everything looked beautiful, even though we had only one refreshing criminal tea. the location is warm and comfortable, and the dame that served us was friendly and welcoming. worth a visit.
The menu was limited to a glorified hot polenta sandwich with various fillings. The sandwiches are pre-prepared, so they can't omit an ingredient in case of allergies. The waitress couldn't tell me the exact ingredients. Honestly, everything was very tasty, specially the samovar tea. But...it was too pricey for what it was, especially considering the inflexible service.
A fantastic lunch spot. Exceptional soups and "tartines" made by folks who trained in the cooking school run by 3 start Michelin chef Michel Guerard. And all in a lovely setting in a perfectly restored old village house.
