Bidra med feedbackI'm a visiter staying at the University of Oregon campus for a few weeks, not a local, so I can't really compare Noodle Head to any of the other offerings nearby. However, I do live near a college campus back home and so have thoroughly tested the waters of various Asian cuisine. That's my simple disclaimer. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with Chicken, and my friend ordered Fried Rice with Chicken and an order of the potstickers. Prices were reasonable at $7.25 per dish and (I think) $3 for the potstickers. They also didn't overcharge for drinks which is always a plus. The potstickers were some of the best I have ever had, perfectly crispy on the outside and not at all a soggy mess on the inside like I've had so many times before. Even being stuffed, I crammed the last one in because I couldn't bear to throw it away. My noodles were also fabulous! I already want to go back for more. They were not as spicy as I expected, but there is a little condiment bar where I was able to add extra garlic chili sauce and I was a happy girl! The portions were generous and I didn't get all the way through my bowl. I think next time I would order the beef though. The chicken was good but didn't seem to integrate as well as I would hope. My friend's Fried Rice was just okay. He enjoyed it though, so maybe it was just because I had been eating my strong spicy meal before trying it. Meanwhile, he tried mine and had to grab a glass of water quickly. The restaurant itself is very college feeling. It's a bit run down, very lightly staffed, and has a style bordering on a fast food place. After ordering at a counter, they give you a number and your cup for the soda fountain if you ordered a drink. Then you can sit at the tables somewhere and get your food when your number is called. There are signs around saying to bus your own table, and the bowls are not disposable so you have to dump out the remaining food and put the plate up on a stand near the trash. Everyone was pleasant though and the place worked for me. I'm sure I'll be going again before I leave town.
Well, I like the yellow curry and rice. Not enough vegetables though and costs $9 with the tip the machina almost makes you make. OK, wish there were somewhere where they did better vegetables.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and it was a great experience. The place was very clean, and the staff was extremely helpful, providing excellent recommendations. The portion size of the food was generous, and it tasted fantastic! The only issue I encountered was that the noodles were slightly clumped together, but I ordered a dry dish, so it was understandable.
The restaurant is located right by campus and serves amazing food. I have tried several dishes on the menu and all of them have been delicious. It can get crowded during lunchtime, but that's only because the food is so good and it's affordable for the quality you receive.
This restaurant offers a wide range of dishes, all of which are executed well. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I especially enjoy their selection of spices. Delicious!
