Family dinner, on the terrace. The welcome is friendly, the food is good, the service very correct.

On the road to the return of a long weekend in the Drome Provençale, a small stop was needed to get some food. Bifurcation in the direction of the small village of Etoile sur Rhône, direction the center. On the square, the fruit and vegetable dealer advises us of this coffee-restaurant that does not pay a mine from outside. Once the perron has passed, the welcome is warm and real. My dog, certainly very wise but of medium size, was accepted without problems. We are Monday, May 08, and the fish were devalued the day before. So we're on the meat, a fried tin... We were 3 to make this choice with 3 different cooking... These were perfectly respected, and Charolaise meat was excellent, tender and not fat. A piece of 250 to 300grams with very good home fries, sincerely nothing to say. We can ask what we want, the boss is at your disposal. The boss, the Chef, comes to greet you and offers you a little glass of Limoncello. A very nice place shared with other customers who chat with you...

If you pass by Étoile sur Rhône, which is a village classified with its church of the 12th century and its heritage trail, stop without hesitation for the meal break at the Café du Château or you will be offered a fresh and well cooked product card. You will be welcomed by the boss who always smiles while her husband works in the kitchen to treat us. Once a month a special dish is offered : fried mussels, paella, lasagnes etc.....cela in addition to the map! It is thanks to this traditional cuisine that restaurants can continue to live and bring entertainment to the villages. You have to encourage these lovers of good food. BRAVO!!!!

Faced with the star castle on Rhone in a simple setting and a correct price card for a lunch break a good simple kitchen but where the aroma of the products are there and highlighted! Effectiveness! Only small flat, access but nothing of your a walk through this beautiful village
