Golden Cook Caribbean - Etobicoke

I tried the Ox-Tail and Jerk Chicken at this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. I was a bit hesitant to order from here since I am new to Mimico, but I was not disappointed! Both dishes were delicious and I will definitely be ordering from here again. If you're craving island food, this is the place to go. The only thing missing is the ocean, sandy beach, and some rum. Kudos to the chef!

I have tried oxtail dishes all over town and even made it myself, but this place is the best. The owners are welcoming and friendly. I plan to eat here every week. It's just a casual spot for lunch, but worth it.

Don't let this little sparing food fool you. It is worth waiting for the oxtail of this friendly woman. It's the best I ever had. We moved to Newmarket and always go out of our way to eat here. It's worth... driving. But call first and make sure she made enough for sale. ENJOY
