Her daily specials are posted weekly on her Facebook page.Her cakes, pies and cookies are the best you will find in Gainesville.The owner and staff make you feel right at home. Love this place.

The Baker's Daughter is a fine example of what I call a hole-in-the-wall eatery located on the north side of Gainesville (GEORGIA). I mean this with the utmost respect. The restaurant is an old house in a location where you have to know how to find it and would not see it if you weren't looking for it. They make awesome sandwiches! The one I love is called the Mad Max--a BLT with ham, turkey, and roast beef! Today I had their tomato bisque soup and it was the best soup that I've had in years. They also make great sides, full sized cakes (order in advance), and other desserts. If you plan things right, you can pick up your multi-layer wedding cake and have a great lunch at the same time. Ample parking is available because the place is small. Each day they have a lunch special. If you know, you know. If you don't know, you have to come by or call to find out. Liz usually works the counter and she is as sweet as tea. Tell her Paul sent you when you stop by! Once you come here, you will come back.

Great food, and reasonably priced! Also quite friendly and personable..pleasant!

We tried it today and had such a good experience. The food was great and the staff were really friendly. Can't wait to come back.
