Bidra med feedbackGreat food! Cook home. Chicken is crispy. The **** has the Earl Flair. Very south. This place is an oasis in the desert of the back roads LowCountry. BBQ sauce is on the table. Dessert contain Pecan Pie and chocolate pudding with real whipped cream. Biscuits are on the table. Green cooked, but not muddy. Everything's the way you eat with the Waltons.
Visit this restaurant since I was 8 years old. There will never be another country cooking buffet that comes close to it in terms of taste, variety and atmosphere. I'll eat here until my teeth fall out, then I'm just gonna get to the brutal stew.
Look here, we are traveling in the southeast for work and BBQ restaurants are always a jump. Lesters was recommended to us by two different sources while building the road in Hampton. If other evaluators say “worth the ride”, I would eat the 200 mile ride again only at Lester’s. The spread of the buffet is what really seals the deal. After charging a dish and 2 bowls, we were eating and about 10 minutes in my buddy and I looked at....” I haven't had a bad bite yet, you?” And that's pretty close. After I cleared all this, I realized that the hush puppies are the best I ever had. They are so soft and just fall into the mouth. I ate at least a dozen. Bottom line, if you are ANYWHERE near here you need to eat at Lester.
Great food made a big family.. Can always see a friend here.
Lester's is a BBQ buffet restaurant in the country worth driving to. There is a full buffet, salad bar dessert bar, all good. They are only open Th-Sun. Sunday is the best day to go for lunch the busiest. It looks like a very popular place for Sunday dinner after Church. I think they close early on Sunday so check before you go. My favorite time is in the mid afternoon Thurs-Sat to miss the crowd. It is very casual everyone there is always very nice. They have a large private dining room for reunions for overflow when the main room is full.
