High Point Golf Course And - Essex

Terrible customer service at the bar. The lady at the bar couldn't remember a single thing we ordered or said. The bartender went on a tirade because I had the nerve to ask for my **** Mary that I ordered but was never charged for because, again she'd forgotten it the second I asked for it. Then when I came back into the clubhouse after my round, she tells me that she forgives me for whatever perceived slight she felt was directed at her... What kind of bartender yells at the customer because they expected what they ordered and you forgot to even charge for it. Completely rude and oblivious service. Now, the course is not mowed and less than half the holes have their markers on them. Nobody fixes their divots. The place has gone downhill. Go somewhere else to golf, you'll enjoy yourself much more.

So pleasantly surprised by lunch here today!! We never have any where around here to go for lunch so we decided to give it a try and the food was DELICIOUS. Beef wrap was excellent, tater tots were well seasoned, steak sandwich was great, chicken wrap was super good. Expected the kids Mac and cheese to be Kraft it was large corkscrew noodles and so yummy!! Service was great as well and the patio was sunny and beautiful. We will definitely be back this summer wish we’d have been here sooner.

Been coming here for over 10 years. Never been disappointed. It is a less challenging 9 hole course. It’s always well kept and the price for golf is good too.

Online said it was open till 7, went at five and they were closed. Not the first time this happened.

It was nice. The staff was great. My son golfed there for school too. It's no PGA course but it is still a very nice 9 hole course.
