After the complete renovation of the Kiepenkerl restaurant in August 2016 and after reopening with a slightly modified concept, I was looking forward to the new facility and the menu of the Kiepenkerl. On Thursday last week I was a guest with friends and we were not disappointed. The new room concept, the modified color scheme combined with a sophisticated, new lighting and minimalist decoration, represents a significant improvement to my taste. The former huge bar will probably no longer miss, fits into time, or the new smaller bar makes the rooms appear more open and bigger and creates space for bar chairs and high tables, where not only drunk but can also be fed, a kind of bistro. The walls between the room and the actual restaurant area and the entrance area were opened, an airy separation between the two parts of the guest room now forms local wooden bulkheads. A round thing! In the future, younger guests will find their way to the Kiepenkerl. The card has been carefully revised. In addition to modernized classic German cuisine, you can now also choose creative steak variants. On Thursday I was allowed to enjoy an Irish fried steak with sweet potato frits with a well chopped side salad. The new Pils. Even wine lovers will certainly find something suitable. In summary, it should be noted that the reconstruction of the pebbles has achieved successes and successes!

We were here for the first time today. Very quiet relaxed atmosphere, attentive operation a very well maintained place. The food asparagus menu was simply super delicious! Asparagus and calf at the point!!! We are happy to return:
