Dar Jeeling Laalouj - Essaouira

We have been to this place one time during our short stay in Essaouira. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The girl did everything she could to help us identifying the vegan options and making the best choices. We ordered eggplant pancakes, argan nut pancakes, harira soup and fruit salad. Everything was very delicious. We got a lot of food for the price we paid.

We and dinner here and it was a nice dinner, not fancy, but quite ok. waiter was friendly and helped us in our selection. not a place for a great food experience, but rather a few standard limitations and go.

The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and offers a wide variety of delicious dishes. The manager, Aziz, is amazing and even gave us a tajine cooking class. We visited four times in three days! I highly recommend trying the plant and almond tajine, chickpea tajine, pastilla, and the crepe with amlou - it's incredible! They also have some great fish options available.
