La Belle Patate - esquimalt

So good, on a cold day or aNice summer day it’s an indulgent treat, a smoked meat pouting and a couple of “steamies” hits the spot! So good dim as taste it!

This poutine restaurant has excellent staff and delicious fries with a unique sauce that reminds me of European cuisine. The take-out service was great, with the staff even giving me extra sauce. I also enjoyed the spruce beer. While the restaurant is not the most upscale and has a limited menu, it is a solid choice for poutine. However, be cautious of a nearby corner store owner who can be quite hostile about parking. Overall, a must-try for poutine lovers.

This place is awesome. Been coming here about once a month for 4 years and 90% of the time it's perfect. Tonight they nailed it!! Had the galvaude. Was freaking fantastic!

On the downside, the restaurant is often dingy and lacking in cleanliness. As someone who values order and cleanliness in the kitchen, I believe the establishment could benefit from a renovation to refresh the tired and worn-out look. Additionally, wait times are consistently underestimated, so it's best to assume a longer wait on busy nights.

The poutine here is really good, but that's about it. The option to customize with vegetables and other ingredients is a nice touch. However, the location is inconvenient without parking, and the atmosphere and cleanliness are below par. The wait for food was excessive, and the hot dog didn't impress. I might return for takeout poutine, but only if I happen to be in the area for other reasons.
