One of our favorite restaurants in Espinho, located on the seafront. Not only is the food delicious and fresh, but the staff are so gracious and accommodating, making recommendations and suggestions, even telling us which foods in Portugal are permissible to be eaten using fingers! Our most recent meal was Carapau Grelhado grilled horse mackerel), a new fish to us, which we loved! Mario provided a beautiful cheese and charcuterie board for our room upstairs one evening when we decided to stay in. The included buffet breakfast for guests at A&Z, the attached lodging surpasses most places we have been with eggs and bacon cooked to order plus a vast selection of meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, and fresh fruits.
