Spotted this place when looking for somewhere to eat out and it looked really lovely inside. Lovely atmosphere and ambience, staff very attentive. The food was REALLY good! We had chorizo for starter and short rib and ravioli for main. It was all amazing, best short rib I 've ever tried I think. Prices are same as most of Tulum restaurants like this but I am happy to pay if food is this good. Only issue- cocktails were stupidly expensive, we had margaritas which were not on their 'cocktail menu ' so didnt know the price and it was a shock. Kind of left a bad taste in your mouth to be honest.

Casa Banana is my favorite restaurant in Tulum! My boyfriend and I have dined here at least 5 6 times over the past 3 years and every time we go it is just as delicious as the last I love the consistency, ambiance, food, and service. This past time we went for my birthday on September 26. We had Carla as our server and we loved her! She was spot on with her recommendations for us from the cut of steak to the cocktails. She also recommended a cocktail for me that was created by the only female bartender which was AWESOME! The staff sang for my birthday which was so sweet. This past visit was the first time we had a female server bartender at Casa Banana which just made the whole experience even better!!!

This place is amazing! The food was perfect highly recommend the artichokes ! Pedro was our server and he was fun, knowledgeable , and so helpful. We had the best time here great ambience fun but not obnoxious. Service was impeccable . Food was one of the best meals I’ve ever had !!!! Thank you!

This restaurant is located in the hub of everything hood and bad about Tulum. Food quality and preparation can be improved compared. Everything we ordered was just ok. Worst thing about the place are the sales that go on in the bathroom!! Scary and despicable!

La comida es buena y puedes encontrar distintos cortes de carne pero es demasiado caro para lo que es.Sumado a eso, la atención del mesero fue pésima para un restaurant de ese nivel. Pedí una michelada y me trajo la cerveza con un limón cortado al lado; ni siquiera supo prepararla. Luego le preguntamos acerca de una bebida tónica y no tenía idea de qué marcas manejaban. Para rematar la noche, nos llega una cuenta carísima donde te cobran $100 por una botella de agua a medias aún cuando el mesero nos ofreció agua sin pedirla, dando a entender que era cortesía de la casa. Por último, te fuerzan a pagar propina, ya que agregan el valor del servicio dentro de la cuenta final (la propina se gana, no es un deber). Lástima que cobren tanto por un servicio y calidad que no lo merece.Esperaba más.
